Join us for another Land and Book edition as we continue our in-depth bible study into 1 Samuel, specifically focusing on chapter 9. This video helps contextualize the narrative in the land of Israel by exploring Saul's background and the significant cities and regions mentioned. We provide valuable insights into how to study the Old Testament effectively by connecting its stories to their geography.
In this video, we trace the geographical path of Saul, son of Kish, as he journeys from his home in Gibeah to the central Benjamin plateau on a fruitless search for lost donkeys, leading to an encounter with one of Israel's greatest prophets.
