Here's what others have to say about traveling to Israel...

If a person wants to understand scripture better, I know of no method as powerful as actually visiting the lands of the Bible with knowledgeable, trustworthy leaders. I would not trade my experience for ten vacations to other places.

Their attention to detail, their unselfish efforts, and their conscientious thoroughness set one's mind at ease that he or she is in competent hands. Beyond that, they are so personable and genuine that seeing these incredible sites with them is to share in their passion and enthusiasm for people and places found in the Old Testament and New Testament.

To say that our trip was transformational would be an understatement. To walk in this part of the world brings a vividness, clarity, and profoundness to your understanding of the Bible in ways I never imagined.

It has been our privilege to accompany John and Carla Moore on three of their transformative trips through the Holy Land in the last few years. There are so many capable people out there who are leading groups to the land of the Bible, but there could not be a Christian couple more dedicated to Christ in their personal lives or dedicated to serving people in their efforts to draw closer to Him through such a sacred, unforgettable experience. From John's vast array of geographical, archaeological, historical, and biblical knowledge to Carla's vigilant, winsome attention to logistics and people, you are made to feel secure and confident that you are seeing as many and the most meaningful places as possible. We cannot wait for the next opportunity we have to accompany the Moores to broaden our appreciation of the place where Abraham, David, Paul, and Jesus walked. You will not regret choosing Bible Passages to help you gain a sweeping and meaningful grasp of the land where Christ and His disciples walked.

"To say that our trip was transformational would be an understatement. To walk in this part of the world brings a vividness, clarity, and profoundness to your understanding of the Bible in ways I never imagined. These places now leap off the pages of Scripture as I study my Bible. The landscapes and surroundings of the events now color the way I see, understand, and even teach these Bible accounts. Since I am a visual learner, the images and sights of these places now fill my mind as I read God’s word. To stand on the banks of the Jordan and inside the site of Jericho, to walk in the Valley of Elah where David fought Goliath and through the streets of Jerusalem where Jesus walked brings the text alive in your mind. The sights and sounds of these places will transform your understanding of the text, strengthen your faith, and at times touch your heart.

John and Carla are the ultimate guides for a journey like this. John’s expertise in biblical geography helps set a context in Scripture for the places we visited with a depth and detail that are unmatched. Carla’s sweet patience and kind-hearted nature allows her to walk with you like she is seeing these things for the first time herself. Their care and concern for the quality of your experience stand out daily as you walk through these places along with them. I can’t imagine a better couple to lead our trip than John and Carla.

This journey is something that every Christian should experience at least once in their lifetime. My wife and I have been blessed to do it twice, and we wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. It will fortify your faith and change the way you see the text, and our Lord. Don’t miss the chance to be forever changed."

"Wow! A trip that satisfied curiosity, clarified history, and bolstered faith. Even with my eagerness to go, I could not have anticipated how blessed I would be traveling through the Bible lands and learning more about the events of the Old Testament and the life of Jesus as I walked in those ancient places. I came to appreciate more fully the Bible lessons and the spiritual significance of the stories God preserved in His word. I cannot imagine that someone would not return from such a trip without an immediate desire to return, to learn more, and simply to give thanks to the Lord for all that He has done for the human race. This is a trip not to be missed.

In John and Carla Moore, travelers will have knowledgeable and spiritually minded companions and guides. Each of these has a deep knowledge of God's word and extensive experience traveling through Israel's Bible locations. This trip will be carefully planned and executed, assuring that every traveler will learn more about the Bible message and draw closer to the Lord through this experience. Having traveled with each of these, I count them among those I respect most highly for their love for God and their love of His word. It was a privilege for me to have shared with them a study of the Bible lands, and I know that you will be thankful you made this trip."

"Want to have an image in your mind when your preacher mentions the City of Capernaum? How about the Garden of Gethsemane? Or maybe you'd like to stand on the banks of the Sea of Galilee and imagine Jesus and his disciples standing in the same spot! Want to go in and feel the cold darkness of a 1st Century Tomb?

Do you picture all of the Bible Lands being just a dry ugly desert? You just might be surprised at the lushness and beauty of some parts of Israel! As a Christian, you need to go experience it yourself. You could go to Hawaii, or you could go to Yellowstone, but why not go see the incredible places that you hopefully are reading and studying about every week?
Strengthen your faith and broaden your horizons all at the same time.

"Visiting the lands of the Bible was one of the most enlightening experiences of my life. As a Bible student, I love the truth of Scripture. After seeing the places where many Biblical events occurred, my understanding of the finer details recorded in Scripture blossomed in a way that I did not know possible. Now, when I hear many different passages of scripture, visions of actual places in my memory immediately come into my mind. Scriptures like 'on this rock, I will build my church,' 'a landowner who planted a vineyard and put a wall around it and dug a wine press in it, and built a tower,' or 'in order to thrown him down the cliff,' are now associated with a specific place and geography.  The extent of Solomon’s holdings, the importance of the prophets of Baal, and the impact of Herod the Great are now concrete details that I don’t simply have to imagine or wonder about. I have firsthand knowledge that helps me understand scripture.

In 2015, I was part of a trip to Israel led by John Moore, with his wife Carla, and Dr. Jonathan Moore. All three were leaders who were tireless in their preparations and attention to detail. They bent over backward to make sure the trip went smoothly and efficiently, working late into the night to iron out last minute details for the following day. Even at the end of the 17-day trip, in spite of exhaustion and homesickness, they remained kind and understanding to everyone involved. They all proved a wonderful reflection of the love of Christ.

John Moore is a wonderfully gentle leader, with a drive to get things done but a very light touch when dealing with different personalities. He understands Biblical geography better than any teacher I’ve ever known. He is easy to talk to and has a constant drive to make sure everyone has a positive experience. John’s wife Carla is a picture of support and organization. She constantly encourages, double-checks, and lifts up. On our trip, Carla displayed the heart of a servant more than anyone else. I cannot imagine that anyone helped everyone to the extent that Carla did. The Moores are veteran guides to the lands of the Bible. Any group under their leadership is guaranteed a meaningful, enlightening experience. I completely trust their ability to guide people into truth in a way that blesses the guests more than anyone could ask."
